The graduate assistant plays a crucial role in advancing the program objectives and success of the Higher Education Leadership doctoral program. The selected candidate will support the program faculty coordinator regarding student admissions, enrollment success, advising support, special program recruitment initiatives, online and campus event support, course schedule development, curricular initiatives, and student record, and information support.Qualifications

  1. Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)
  2. Proficiency in assisting the faculty program coordinator
  3. Bachelors or masters degree

Nature & Purpose of Position:

Responsibilities

  1. Assist the coordinator in program enrollment support
  2. Maintain professional communication in person, via email, and phone
  3. Support recruitment initiatives
  4. Support addressing potential student program inquiries
  5. Address enrolled student queries regarding coursework
  6. Support department program events
  7. Assist with online program support
  8. Engage in student record retrieval
  9. Prompt work attendance and availability
  10. Undertake additional responsibilities as required
  11. Some in-state travel may be required
