Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities of the Adjunct Workforce Science Instructor Maintains a high level of excellence in teaching by communicating and interacting effectively with students enrolled in courses within Workforce Sciences. Prepares materials needed for course instruction and testing. Keeps student records and adheres to course schedules. Uses learning management systems to communicate with students, faculty, and staff. Participates in the collection of student learning outcomes. Conducts lectures, discussions, and other teaching activities. Relates instruction and material to course objectives. Provides students with course syllabi and correlates grade assignments with skill and course competency. Submits grades, reports, and records in a timely manner. Remains current in field through continuous professional development. Minimum and Additional Requirements

Associate degree in related field and 5 years of experience working or teaching in related field. Needs to have direct practical and teaching experience in the following areas: Industrial Safety, Intro to CAD, Precision Tools and Measuring, Print Reading and Sketching. Must be able to present complex technical material to develop fundamentally sound, technically diverse graduates to enter the workforce as advanced maintenance technicians. Must have a driver's license.
