Salary/Position Classification
- $45,000-$50,000 12-month Contract, Exempt

Postdoctoral researcher will work with scientists from the Materials Manufacturing Initiative
Duties & Responsibilities- Responsibilities include writing research reports, meeting with other researchers, working with graduate students, collaborating on and presenting scientific papers, and grant and proposal writing. The candidate will have a high level of understanding of materials science and the mechanics of materials.
- The candidates should have adequate knowledge of 3D printing, polymers, composites, materials characterization, mechanical testing, image analysis, and engineering design.
- PhD in Materials Science or related disciplines
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications- PhD in Materials Science or related disciplines with specialization in synthesis and characterization of materials
