Description:
The Finance Division of the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma, invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track position as Ranked Renewable Term Assistant or Associate Professor of Finance. To be considered for this position, all candidates must have the Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related discipline from a university business program accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and an extensive record of teaching excellence, especially in real estate finance. We encourage applications from individuals who have the capability to provide leadership for our online MSF program. The successful candidate would ideally be qualified to help grow the division’s real estate track, including by developing and teaching new real estate course offerings at the undergraduate and graduate levels, building relationships with real estate industry professionals and real estate professional organizations, conducting analysis and producing reports that would benefit the real estate industry, and helping students access internship and other experiential opportunities in real estate. A research record and an interest in maintaining a high-quality research program (including in practice-oriented or pedagogical research) would be a significant added advantage. Initial appointments are typically for three years and ranked renewable term faculty who meet the appropriate qualification requirements are eligible to be considered for promotion in rank. Salary and benefits will be highly competitive.
