Wenzhou Business College is a top ranked private university approved by the Ministry of Education in China. With nearly 20,000 students and over 1,000 faculty members, the College invites applications for 10-year full-time tenure track positions at all ranks in Mathematics with a specialty in data science to begin in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. The successful candidate will be able to teach one of the undergraduate courses related to data analytics, machine learning, image processing, statistical learning, large data structures and algorithms AI/ML, optimization or a closely related area, as well as participate in the full range of faculty responsibilities, including scholarly research and service to the University. Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field with research interests in the aforementioned area. Ideally candidates should have a track record in scholarly publications and the strong potential to advance research further. High research candidates with established publication record may be considered for a special research track, generous research funding, up to RMB 900,000 (about USD $140K) in tax-FREE salary (pending nationality), and additional allowance besides standard benefit package, e.g. extra RMB one million in housing subsidy.
