The position is the primary contact for graduate and undergraduate student processes. This includes administrative needs for admissions, enrollment, classroom scheduling, advising, assessment, and student records. Processes graduate and undergraduate program modifications.Job Duties:
- Reviews online graduate student applicationsMaintains online program graduate student data base containing student progress, letters of recommendation, transcripts as neededServes on Graduate Studies Committee and provides minutesAssists with course and program modifications related to online programsPrepares and maintains online program course schedulesAssists with online graduate program course schedulesAssists with online instruction contractsUpdates remote work approvals for online instructorsAssists with payroll administration for online program instructors and TAsOther duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED, AND:
- 12 months office clerical experience
- Proficient navigating and maintaining databasesAbility to speak, read, and write clear concise EnglishProficient in Microsoft OfficeDetail oriented and able to handle multiple projects and deadlinesAble to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students, faculty and staffAble to produce reports and complete work within deadlinesStrong initiative to solve problemsCreativity in problem solvingGeneral office skills such as handling a multi-line phone, coordinating conference calls, copying, faxing, filing, and dealing with mail and package handling servicesCustomer serviceComposition and proofreading skillsAbility to work effectively and efficiently as a member of a larger team
- Valid driver's license required for travel.
- B.S. degreeFamiliarity with University systems (ONE, Course Leaf, DegreeNavigator, Canvas, Slate)Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and manipulate spreadsheets.Familiarity with OU Policies and Procedures
- Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periodsAbility to sit for long periods of time and engage in repetitive motionsAble to grasp objects with fingers or handsCommunicate; including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others orally and in written form; Stand, sit, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds.
