OPS Program Assistant

Job Description:

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neurology and Multidisciplinary Diagnostic & Training Program (MDTP) is seeking candidates for a part-time OPS Program Assistant position.

Duties to include:

-Processing incoming mail, faxes and records, including in-coming referral requests and packets

-Taking incoming calls; recording and delivering messages
- Scanning and filing client records - Maintaining client referral log - Scheduling client appointments, completing and sending appointment letters, making appt reminder calls - Preparing client charts and key paperwork for appointments - Checking in clients/greeting families and facilitating completion of evaluation and consultation appointment visit forms and related documentation - Maintaining the MDTP appointment calendar - Processing records requests - Report routing - Coordinating records retention - Overseeing the work of student assistants - Other duties as assigned by program faculty and staff focused on program deliverables, as outlined in the MDTP grant

Expected Salary:

$20-$25 per hour, commensurate with experience

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma.
  • Office experience.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
  • Good customer service skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service experience.
