Position SummaryThe Department of Finance in the Eli Broad College of Business seeks applications for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor appointment. Successful applicants will teach in Corporate Finance, Investments, Risk Management, Behavioral Finance, Financial Data Analytics, and International Finance. Candidates for Assistant Professor should exhibit strong potential for high-quality research that is likely to result in top-level publications and national recognition. Associate/Full Professor candidates must have an established national reputation for original and influential research and demonstrable evidence that they will continue to grow their national status. Faculty members are expected to advise Ph.D. students, advise undergraduate and graduate students, and engage in the service activities of the department and college. Candidates are expected to complete all requirements for the Ph.D. in Finance or related field by June 30, 2024. The position will start on August 16, 2025.

Minimum RequirementsThis position requires a Ph.D. degree from an accredited university. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of teaching excellence. Specific areas of expertise for this position include Corporate Finance, Investments, Risk Management, Behavioral Finance, Financial Data Analytics, and International Finance. Candidates must be able to teach at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.
Desired Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Finance, financial economics, or related fields. Excellent teaching skills are required. Candidates for Assistant Professor should exhibit strong potential for high-quality research that is likely to result in top-level publications and national recognition. Associate/Full Professor candidates must have an established national reputation for original and influential research and demonstrable evidence that they will continue to grow their national status.
