Job Description:

  • Guide new and continuing students to campus resources.
  • Assist with intake at the division’s front desk, answering general questions and emails, scheduling appointments, and addressing student inquiries.
  • Help maintain and revise program handouts.
  • Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
  • Enter large volumes of data entry.
  • Review and verify accuracy of data entry. Report discrepancies.
  • Receive orders: enter orders into database software.
  • Review and resolve discrepancies in information; obtain incomplete information and/or documentation; update records.
  • Respond to information request: provide support to faculty, staff, administrators and students.
  • Practice discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Organize/stock materials, spreadsheets, and documents: scan and/or print, and file records and other information as needed.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Assist with project activities as needed to achieve outcomes.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Position will be filled ASAP and lasts until end of December 2024 with potential for rehire.

Minimum Qualifications:

Demonstrated clerical/date entry experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and basic understanding of databases.
  • Professional level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience using word processing tools and spreadsheets (Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience providing excellent customer service to a diverse population.
  • Experience with data collection, data entry, and maintenance of records.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Salary Range:

$18-20/hour depending on experience
