The WVU School of Music invites candidates who demonstrate success in multiple styles of voice, at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. The primary assignment is teaching applied voice employing both traditional and contemporary techniques that serve the numerous degree tracks and unique goals of our student population. The needs of the school include soprano and mezzo-soprano, but all voice types will be considered. Attracting and maintaining an active studio of voice students is expected. Participation in School of Music activities and faculty governance is required. Other teaching responsibilities could include voice pedagogy, diction, class voice, or other duties according to the needs of the School of Music and the abilities and interests of the candidate.  

This is a full-time, non-tenure track visiting appointment with the potential for renewal.
