Position Summary:As an integral part of the Business School, this position reports to the Financial Operations Manager and supports the Finance & Administration Team. The position coordinates with University Human Resources, Payroll and all Business School departments to initiate and implement all personnel and pay-related actions for Business School departments. The position facilitates staff and student employee onboarding and provides administrative support to the Finance & Administration Team. The successful candidate must possess a demonstrated knowledge of general human resources concepts, practices and procedures. This position requires an extremely high level of confidentiality, excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and an extraordinary level of customer service.
Conditions of Employment:This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime for hours worked beyond 40 in a work week. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times.

Required Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent with experience or supplemental college coursework and/or work experience.
- Knowledge of general Human Resources concepts, practices and procedures.
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures and apply and enforce regulations for travel, procurement, and human resources purposes.
- Ability to evaluate quantitative and qualitative data and make sound decisions accordingly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate clearly and articulately when responding to inquiries and providing information to diverse constituencies such as students, faculty, staff, alumni, and university administration.
- Ability to interact with diverse populations. Initiative and proactive thinking are a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, be detailed-oriented and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Accuracy and efficiency in data management.
- Proficiency in a variety of software applications, including MS Office (particularly with Word, Excel), databases and HRIS or automated HR/payroll system.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education/training and work experience.
- Familiarity with the I-9 verification process.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience working in a higher education environment.
- Experience with enterprise finance and student systems.

Hybrid (works remotely at least 1 day per week but not full-time)

Advertised Pay Range:$47,421 to $49,133 commensurate with experience and internal alignment.
