SummaryThe Administrative Program Coordinator (APC) for the Research Compliance Office (RCO) reports to the Director, Office of Research Compliance and Research Integrity/Research Compliance Officer and provides support for all RCO staff. The APC works closely with Vice President for Research office staff, Office of Research unit directors and staff, as well as interacts with faculty, administrators, staff, students, and trainees at all levels of the university.
The APC must have excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills. The APC must balance multiple priorities and tasks, meet deadlines, and pay close attention to detail. Maintaining strict confidentiality is critical in the APC position as the employee is exposed to highly confidential and sensitive information and is responsible for safekeeping confidential information in perpetuity. The APC must exercise extreme discretion and must conduct all office interactions in a professional, courteous, and confidential manner.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required with two years of regulatory compliance or legal experience.
• Paralegal certificate or associate or bachelor’s degree with three years of regulatory compliance or legal experience.• Ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed.• Ability to work remotely, as needed (e.g., pandemic, natural disasters).
