UT Parking Office-Permit Division

Administrative Assistant

This position reports directly to the UT Parking Office Permit Manager providing administrative support for the UT Parking Permit Division. This position serves as the primary customer service staff member in the main Parking Office reception area answering questions, providing information, taking telephone calls and connecting customers with requested services. This position processes and maintains all records for the Permit Office for the various types of parking permits, assists with permit office billings, maintains departmental internal parking account and database reports, develops and utilizes spreadsheets, supports the UT parking citations appeals process, and assists with the inventory and issuance of parking maps.



Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma. Completion of some specialized administrative/office education and/or relevant training preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of three years administrative office experience.  Experience in an office environment at a university preferred.

Job Skills:

Strong organizational, administrative and customer service skills; proven ability to multi-task; effective oral and written communications skills; proficiency with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word & Excel.
