SummaryIn coordination with the Program Director, Associate Program Directors and the GME Office, the Senior GME Program Administrator II is responsible for overseeing the activities of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. The Senior GME Program Administrator II will oversee compliance to ACGME specialty program requirements including documentation of trainee progress, reporting and audit. They are responsible for supporting and directing Recruitment and Hiring Logistics including Credentialling, Orientation, Graduation, Websites, etc. They will plan and staff recurring meetings to include Program Evaluation Committee, Clinical Competency Committee, Self-Study, Wellness. They are responsible to insure that reimbursements are processed, and support budgeting and financial reporting for the program. They will provide direct support to the Program Director and Associate Program Directors for special projects. The Senior GME Program Administrator II will be actively involved in program assessment and the development of ongoing program quality improvement plans.
The Senior GME Program Administrator II must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, possess critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. The Senior GME Administrator II must possess knowledge of software used for scheduling and tracking in an training environment (eg, scheduling such as MedHub, Qgenda, Amion.) They must have the ability to create, use and understand data collected in spreadsheets and similar systems. They must have computer skills including use of Excel and Excel Pivot Tables. Ability to create reports to aid in program decision making/QI planning.
The Senior GME Administrator II will supervise two residency program staff members, students, and temps as needed. The position will be responsible for cross training all team members to support each other and collaborate with the greater DDOM and SOM community on educational opportunities, training and GME/ educational programs. The position will report to the Program and Associate Directors and Department Executive Director, with a dotted line to SOM GME Administration.
•Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years’ program coordination experience.OR •High School Diploma/equivalent and 10 years’ program coordination experience, to include database management and website management experience.
