The Clinical Assistant Professor of InterventionalCardiology position will practice in an Interventional Cardiology service lineclinic. This position is activelyinvolved in patient care and teaching medical students and residents in theambulatory clinics, as well as the hospital surgery/inpatient service. Appropriate effort and activity in clinicalresearch and service will also be necessary as well as a clinical record ofsufficient depth to qualify for faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant/AssociateProfessor. The position will work withexisting OSU-CHS administration to develop an operational practice. Thisposition may be split between OSU-CHS and the US Department of Veteran’sAffairs (VA).
Environmental Hazards:
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.
Physical Requirements:
Ability tolift, carry push, and pull 20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp,feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or withoutreasonable accommodations. Sufficient to carry out specific job functions of an InterventionalCardiologist.

Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Requirements:
-Requires a DO or MD degree
-Eligibility for licensure in the state ofOklahoma, Board Certification in InterventionalCardiology
-Devoted interest in education
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in all aspects of clinic operations
- Strong analytical, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities are essential
- Computer proficiency for electronic medical records management is a must
- Effective communication and leadership skills are highly valued
- Interpersonal skills necessary for successful interactions with faculty, students, clients, and providers
