Job Details
- Provide front-line administrative assistance at BU Law's Office of Graduate and International Programs (OGIP).
- Support, inform and advise foreign LLM and visiting international exchange students.
- Counsel students on academic requirements and course selection options.
- Address and resolve day-to-day student registration, scheduling and compliance issues as well as non-academic matters, working with other BU Law and university offices as needed.
- Serve as main coordinator for BU Law's 21 study abroad programs, and day-to-day liaison with foreign partners and participating JD and visiting exchange students; maintain student records; help coordinate and execute school-sponsored academic, social and special events, including orientation and commencement.
- Handle pre-arrival matters for incoming students.
- Support OGIP's admissions processes.
- Schedule candidate interviews.
- Help oversee office student workers.
- B.A. or B.S.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Superior organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- One to three years of related experience, preferably with international students
