We are seeking a Research Program Coordinator who will assist in managing the operations of a research team and execution of research projects across grants within the School of Nursing. This will include helping the Principal Investigator (PI) and study team develop, implement, and evaluate two clinical trials focused on nutrition, food access, and cardiometabolic health outcomes and other related projects. The Research Program Coordinator will report directly to the PI.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Under the direction and guidance of the PI: 1) create, monitor and update study-specific regulatory binders in accordance with federal regulations for several studies; 2) ensure these and other files are organized, maintained, stored, and shared with project team members, as needed and under supervision of RPM
- Coordinator and participate in regular research meetings, start/end recording and/or transcripts, take attendance as needed, and draft meeting notes.
- Assist PI with completing Institutional Review Board applications and completing agreements between with institutions and third-party vendors for ethical conduct of research
- Lead study recruitment and conduct study-related visits with research participants, including attending in-person community events to conduct participant recruitment.
- Prepare recruitment, enrollment and retention reports and reports for fidelity and safety monitoring for the PI and other co-investigators to review.
- Under the supervision and guidance of the study biostatistician, complete regular data quality checks in study database.
- Assist PI and study team with study-related logistical activities (e.g., ordering supplies as needed, submitting receipts for reimbursement, payment of open access fees, registrations, ordering and setting up catering for center events, etc.).
- Assist PI and study team with other activities related to the conduct of research (e.g., developing recruitment and intervention materials, coordinating and facilitating multi-stakeholder meetings, drafting and submitting abstracts and manuscripts)

Technical Qualifications or Specialized Certifications
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Google Drive and reference management tools
- Experience in using REDCap
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
- Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
