House Manager/Assistant Box Office Manager – Clarence Brown Theatre/University of Tennessee Theatre
The Clarence Brown Theatre, the professional theatre on the campus of the University of Tennessee – Knoxville invites applications for the House Manager/Assistant Box Office position.
Application Process: Interested individuals should apply by July 24, 2024.
Screening of applicants will begin immediately and will continue until the position has been filled. For full consideration, applicants must provide a resume, cover letter, and a minimum of three (3) references. All applicants must apply online to be considered for this position.
The House Manager/Assistant Box Office Manager is directly responsible for managing all performance events when an audience is present. Serves as facilities liaison for the theatre and is responsible for all auditorium and lobby cleanliness, storage organization, and event set up. Tracks concessions, merchandise, and front of house supply budgets. Supervises front of house and volunteer staff members. Assists with all customer service-related ventures and is expected to serve as box office manager for some performances.
