Job Details

Under general supervision, incumbents independently perform a broad range of ultrasound procedures in a women's health clinic utilizing various modes of equipment operation. Incumbents evaluate scans and determine the course of a study to insure that physicians are provided with optimal studies for diagnosis. Incumbents may assist with the training of Ultrasound Technologists; and may demonstrate ultrasonic procedures and equipment to other medical staff members. Qualified candidates will be responsible for performing low and high risk perinatal Obstetric (OB)echocardiographic examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines and protocols. Candidates should have special interest and expertise in prenatal diagnosis and OB ultrasound with the ability to recognize normal and pathological conditions and apply additional modalities as indicated (i.e. Doppler,3D/4D). Candidate should obtain relevant history via EMR, image according to protocol, review cases with the care team, and generate preliminary reports. Familiarity in recognizing and troubleshooting various imaging IT issues is required. Candidate may perform other duties, as assigned The position's primary work location will be in the inland empire working in the UCR Health Clinic and in affiliate facilities. As a per diem position, it is expected that this position will work up to 16 hours per week primarily between Monday and Friday 8am to 5pm, however on occasion there may be a requirement to be on call and work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.The full salary range for the Sonographer-Women's Health (Per Diem) is $56.99 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
