Administrative Support AST II

Job Description:
  • Primary responsibility for the Data Base (CPTIS) including but not limited to: data entry of client information/ staff service provision; Communicates with data base authors and updates required information in data bases for all contracts and grants. Train and develops expertise in the data base systems utilized for reporting client information directly in the CPTIS system in Tallahassee. Assists Office Manager with general office duties and serves as liaison for the Child Protection Team and Pediatric Administration.
  • Maintains Crimes Compensation records. Maintains evidence (from sexual abuse examinations) collections and ensures chain of evidence. Provides secretarial support for the CPT staff; Obtains statistics and pertinent information required for program reports; Assists professional staff for legal proceedings (depositions, subpoena, and trial scheduling). Coordinates case files in compliance with best practices for professional staff. Train, become fluent and participate in performance requirements for all UF First Coast CPT staff and the contracted funders and community partners.
  • Assists Assistant Director with general office duties back up and special projects as needed for the programs in the Division of Child Protection and Forensic Pediatrics to be in compliance with timeliness and contract standards for contracted agencies. The agencies include the Department of Health's Children's Medical Services, the Office of the Attorney General, and the City of Jacksonville. Coordinates trainings and materials for special projects as needed by the Medical Director, Division Chief, and Program Coordinator.


Expected Salary:

$18 to $20 per hour depending on education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Administrative experience in academic/university setting.
