Introduce:


Approved for construction by the former National Planning Commission in 1988, the National Key Laboratory of High-end Equipment Mechanical Transmission underwent national acceptance in 1991 and officially opened to the public. It stands as one of China s first national key laboratories in the field of engineering and technology. In 2022, it was among the first batch of laboratories granted national key laboratory status for high-end equipment mechanical transmission. The laboratory is dedicated to addressing fundamental scientific issues concerning high-end precision, heavy-duty, high-speed, and highly reliable mechanical transmission core components. It conducts fundamental and applied research on meshing theory, transmission system design and manufacturing, and operation and maintenance core technologies. It has achieved international recognition for discovering the photoelastic effect for the first time and pioneering a new meshing theory for gear pairs. It has also overcome key design and manufacturing technologies for helical gears with plane secondary envelope cycloid worms. These efforts have propelled China s technological advancements and localization of equipment in industries such as heavy-duty vehicles, metallurgical equipment, marine equipment, ships, wind power, and machine tools. The laboratory has won 1 National Science Conference Award, 3 Second Prizes of National Technical Invention Awards, 9 Second Prizes of National Science and Technology Progress Awards, and has led in obtaining 52 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological special awards/first prizes. In the past five years, it has published nearly 3000 high-quality papers, released 30 monographs, compiled 26 national/industry standards, obtained nearly 1000 international/national invention patents, and secured over 20 national-level projects worth tens of millions of RMB, including major national science and technology projects and national key research and development programs, with research funding exceeding 1 billion RMB. The laboratory currently employs 184 researchers, including 40 national-level talents such as academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and has 7 innovation teams supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology. It has 1209 graduate students and 54 postdoctoral fellows. The laboratory is equipped with internationally advanced research facilities, including platforms for transmission system simulation and high-performance computing, precision transmission system static mechanical performance testing, dynamic performance testing and analysis of mechanical transmission systems, high-performance electromechanical transmission system performance testing, automobile powertrain system performance testing, gear basic data testing, and transmission system environmental testing. It has established eight technology joint laboratories with organizations such as China Aerospace and China Aviation Industry Corporation, positioning itself as one of the top four leading research institutions globally in the field of mechanical transmission.

  • For the first 3 years, the pre-tax salary of RMB 250,000/year, with additional performance-based rewards. After passing the mid-term assessment, performance-based salary will be implemented according to the professional position standards.

  • Relocation allowance of RMB 200,000;

  • Research start-up funds of RMB 100,000 for science, engineering, and medical sciences, and RMB 50,000 for humanities and social sciences;

  • During the appointment period, if the candidates are selected for the national postdoctoral innovative talent support plan, salary will be increased during the funding period.

  • Hongshen Young Teachers can independently choose to enter the postdoctoral mobile station. If they enter the postdoctoral mobile station and stay in Chongqing for work after completing the postdoctoral period, an additional subsidy of RMB 150,000 will be provided by the Chongqing municipal government.
