Job Summary:

The Department of Management in the College of Business, at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), invites applicants for a non-tenure track Clinical Professor/Lecturer of Management. We seek individuals who have demonstrated ability to teach management courses and the ability to work well in a collegial, interdisciplinary department. We are seeking applicants prepared to teach at the undergraduate level. The appointment begins Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. Appointees will hold the title of Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor or Lecturer of Management depending on qualifications and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Clinical Professor/Lecturer will be expected to teach at the graduate and undergraduate level depending on needs and qualifications. In addition to teaching the appointee will perform service duties in the Department of Management to assist curriculum development and student success in the College of Business.

Required Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in HR or a Related Field at an AACSB accredited university is required to be considered. We seek individuals who are dedicated to student success and work well in a collegial, interdisciplinary department.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have their PhD in management, strategic management, human resources, organizational behavior, or a related field. Preferred candidates will have HR experience and teaching experience.

The Department of Management is an interdisciplinary group researchers and scholarly practitioners. We support BBA, MBA, HCAD, MSHRM, EMBA and PhD programs with classes in general management, leadership, entrepreneurship, international management, human resource management and strategy. Our department is research active with recent publications in top-tier management outlets including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of International Business Studies, and Journal of Business Venturing.
