Responsibilities- Provides direct psychological services to University students including individual, couples and group counseling; conducts clinical assessments and formulates diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Provides initial triage assessments, crisis intervention, and intakes for students.
- Provides clinical consultations to family members and campus community constituents.
- Completes intake summaries, psychological assessments, emergency evaluations, progress notes, and termination summaries according to established policies and procedures.
- Participates in Counseling and Psychological Services and University committees, and provides outreach presentations, program consultation, and prevention programming.
- Provides clinical supervision and/or training of interns in our American Psychological Association (APA)Accredited Doctoral
- Psychology Internship or in our Master´s Internship; may be involved in the presentation and leading of training seminars.
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program. Degree to be conferred within 90 days of hire.
- Must be licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in the State of Florida (in accordance with Chapter490, F.S.) or be able to obtain licensure within two years of employment in this position.
- Preferred candidates will have significant experience in college counseling centers or clinics, strong clinical skills and demonstrated ability with outreach, consultation and suicide prevention programming.
- A demonstrated ability in and commitment to the training and supervision of master's and doctoral interns.
- A track record of teamwork, collegiality, and leadership is valued in our Mentor-Apprentice Training Model.
- Demonstrated skills working with diverse students, faculty, and staff in a multicultural environment is preferred.

Anticipated starting salary for licensed Psychologists is $90,000. Anticipated starting salary for candidates pending licensure is $85,000.
