What is also important to know about this opportunity and our team and work includes the following:
1. We operate on the premise that all outcomes from crop production hinge on the specific combinations of the plants involved (genetics) and environments they experience. The purpose of our work is to assist in developing and helping people to use improved genetics and management approaches creating environments conducive to success.
2. We study vegetables, and vegetable farming as it is and could be done. We focus on tools and practices expected to improve farmers’ success by improving their productivity and efficiency.

4. We do NOT study pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, or similar materials. We do occasionally study fertilizers and other materials applied to plants and soils.
