Department Information

The Department of Humanities and Fine & Performing Arts offers classes in English composition, communication, foreign languages, literature, philosophy, art, music, and theatre.Our department contributes to the essential liberal arts foundation of the academic curriculum. Our faculty are passionate about teaching and are dedicated to the highest quality of instruction. We challenge students to think critically and deeply, to develop multicultural awareness, and to develop their minds and their skills in a way that will foster both personal and professional success. Job Summary

An instructor of Philosophy will teach sections of PHIL 2010 Introduction to Philosophy or PHIL 2020 Introduction to Ethics, which are part of the IMPACTS core curriculum of the college.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of master's degree with 18 post-baccalaureate credits in Philosophy
