Position Overview

The Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University invites applications for a Lecturer (non-tenure track) to join our team for the 2024 Autumn Semester. This is an associated faculty position.

Performance Objectives

The successful candidate will teach the following three (3) courses:

  • History 2701 - History of Technology

  • History 3014 - Gilded Age to Progressive Era, 1877-1920

  • Grader for History 2702 - Food in World History

The candidate will hold office hours, and submit grades during the autumn semester.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Must hold PhD at time of appointment

  • Previous teaching experience and specialization in History of Technology
