College/Department Information

The mission of the Hull College of Business is to deliver high-quality programs of instruction, to engage primarily in applied research, and to address workforce development needs. We impact our regional community through interdisciplinary activities and achieve our mission by developing business professionals through experiential learning, community engagement, and career development activities. Developing exceptional business professionals through experiential learning and community engagement who make a positive impact on local and global business communities.

Job Summary

Manages and oversees all aspects of Academic Affairs within the Hull College of Business. Specifically, activities involving the creation, maintenance, revision, or deletion of curriculum, courses, sequences of courses and programs of study offered by or within the College; all managerial activities related to that curriculum (Including SACS and AACSB assessments, required institutional reporting, and accreditation/licensure requirements); and the support of faculty and students in the delivery of that curriculum (Including course scheduling and college scholarships).

Responsibilities

The duties include, but are not limited to:

INSTITUTIONAL AND COLLEGE LEARNING: Manage institutional and college student learning outcomes and unit planning via Compliance Assist, periodic program reviews, and accreditation processes. Serves as the point of contact for Hull College Assessment Program and on the SLO Assessment Committee; Assists Faculty in designing quality program-level assessments; Reviews Program-level assessment results to engage faculty with recommendations to improve program level outcomes.

COLLEGE-LEVEL ACADEMIC AFFAIRS: Manage and coordinate College-level academic affairs to include but not limited to course scheduling, permissions, graduation applications, grade changes, and withdrawals. Manages the Fall, Spring, and Summer course schedule for all undergraduate business programs and graduate programs (MBA); Plans and coordinates faculty assignments (in teaching effort) along with input from the Program Managers for student needs; Coordinates with Program Managers and Faculty on graduation applications, grade changes, withdrawals, and scholarships.

HULL COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE: Serves as Hull College representative at AU Enrollment Management Committee, AU Institutional
Effectiveness, and AU Student Learning Outcomes committees. Hull College Liaison for AU Enrollment Management committee, AU Student Learning Outcomes committee, Registrar, Financial Aid, Human Resources, Admissions, Institutional Effectiveness, as well as external accrediting bodies (AACSB and SACS)

LIAISON: Serve as the liaison between the Hull College and support offices (e.g., Registrar's Office , the Admissions Office, and Institutional Effectiveness), coordinate and process transfer equivalency request, and assist with student services program development.

CURRICULM CHANGES VIA CURRICULOG: Assist with the coordination and submission of curriculum changes via Curriculog. Manages the process for faculty review of curriculum changes; develops and provides recommendations of programmatic changes; coordinates and submits the changes in curriculog.

OTHER DUTIES: Perform other duties assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a related field with a minimum of two years of related experience to include customer service, marketing, public relations, or event planning.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited university or college in business or related field. Related work experience to include marketing, public relations, or event planning.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

KNOWLEDGE
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
Knowledge of university academic policy and procedures as it relates to Augusta University, in addition to USG rules and regulations.

SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently
Interpersonal skills suited to working with both technical and non-technical personnel
Demonstrates strong analytical skills to identify issues, determine sources of information and gather and synthesize data from multiple sources

ABILTIES
Ability to find, evaluate and recommend solutions to problems
Formulates logical and objective conclusions and recommendations

Shift/Salary/Benefits

Shift: Days/M-F (Work outside of normal business hours may be required)

Pay Grade: 14

Salary: Minimum $36,197/annually - Midpoint $48,866/annually

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum midpoint) of the position.
