DescriptionThe Division of Arts and Sciences at Imperial Valley at San Diego State University is accepting applications for a 1-year, temporary, non-renewable, Visiting Faculty position starting Fall 2024 academic semester.

We welcome applications from prospective temporary faculty with expertise or experience in the following areas:

Border and transborder studies
Chicano, Ethnic, and/or Indigenous studies

QualificationsCriteria

Doctorate degree or terminal degree in their field.
University teaching experience
Demonstrated currency in subject matter

As of July 2023, the classification salary range is $5,007 - $14,487 per month. Most Visiting Faculty employees are hired at the beginning of the range.
