Job Description:

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, renewable, non-tenure track Lecturer position to begin Fall 2024. The appointment is in the areas of Physical and Biophysical Chemistry. Typical applicants will have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, or a closely related field, and demonstrable expertise in teaching at the University level.

Successful candidates will be expected to teach and be responsible for upper- and lower-level laboratories in Physical and Biophysical chemistry, to develop and contribute to the implementation of effective pedagogical materials and course curriculum at the undergraduate level, including electronic course management, online material, and mentorship of undergraduate students. We seek candidates with a record of creativity in education in chemistry and a commitment to pursue a career in teaching at one of the largest chemistry departments in the country. Expected Salary:

The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and the compensation includes a full benefits package.
