Job Summary::

Do you enjoy helping others reach their full potential? Are you looking for new ways to enhance the learning experiences for students? If so, Kalamazoo Valley Community College may have the ideal part time opportunity for you.

Kalamazoo Valley is seeking an accounting tutor. This position provides tutoring to students in one-on-one and small group settings. The work schedule includes daytime and evening hours.

Minimum Qualifications::

Applicants interested in tutoring must possess a 3.0 grade point average or better in the discipline and have excellent communication skills.

Candidates must have successfully completed Accounting I (ACC 101) ; Accounting II (ACC 102) and Accounting III (ACC 103) or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience::

Successful completion of accounting classes beyond Accounting I – III, as well Business Courses (BUS 100, BUS 101, BUS 102, BUS 103, BUS 106, BUS 108 AND BUS 109), or an associates degree in accounting is preferred.

Work Hours::

10 to 20 hours per week; flexible schedule, hours vary between days and evenings.
