Job Summary

50%
-Works 80+ broadcasts annually for live events on campus
-Handles all administrative affairs for the department including, but not limited to, payroll, scheduling meetings, and sending emails
-Supervises 30+ students, including scheduling, training students, and guiding the student organization UWG Productions

25%
-Provides A/V support for 3rd party events hosted by UWG
-Set up, operate, and break down production equipment including cameras, lighting, and audio
-Drive the social media page by posting content from events and interacting with users

-Assists with private academic events by managing run of show, performing as DJ, and assembling audio and lighting in a proper fashion
-Organize media assets and physical storage
-Assist with the management of the live event production master calendar, including scheduling students, events, and managing event documentation
-Assist with on-site event management as needed

Required Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a Graduate Program
  • Bachelor Degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in live events
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • The position requires sitting and standing for long periods of time.
