DescriptionSummary
Performs quality assurance checks to ensure courses meet university standards. Assists with multiple parts of several Instructional Design projects. This position contributes to a culture of innovation, teaching excellence, and collaboration.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviewing courses for quality assurance. Ensuring course quality criteria, global template, etc. are being followed and courses are Teach-ready on the first day of class each semester.
- Perform audit and quality assurance reviews of courses, learning activities, and academic technologies to ensure alignment with learning outcomes and university standards throughout the academic year.
- Quality Assurance activities as assigned throughout the semester to make sure that all live courses are defect-free and follow all University standards.
- Ensuring the QA feedback communicated to faculty has been implemented in the courses promptly.
- Assisting with creating and modifying Faculty training materials and course shells
- Analyzing and reporting data from any of the instructional design projects whenever needed.
- Maintain project documentation and course folders.
- Other projects and related duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in instructional design, education technology, or similar field
Experience:
- Four or more years of instructional design experience in developing online, mobile, and instructor-led courses
- Curriculum development experience
- Experience working with a variety of eLearning technology platforms and learning management systems.
- Experience delivering professional training

Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment with people interaction. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and office machines. The employee will be requested to log hours worked in a system provided by the institution and track individual task assignments in another tool.
