Job Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for:
  • Provides advising and registration support for credit and continuing education students.
  • Serves as a customer service representative regarding a wide variety of topics related to the campus and the college as a whole.
  • Coordinates and executes special projects and programs at the Dorchester Campus, including those for prospective and current students, as well as for external partners and the public.
  • Develops and proposes campus scheduling and coordinates with the Dean as well as other faculty and staff to ensure full utilization of the campus. (15%)
  • Assists with outreach activities in the tri-county region, particularly in Dorchester County.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum and Additional Requirements

    This position requires a bachelor’s degree and experience in student services programs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Ideal candidate will also have experience with academic affairs programs or higher education administration. Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to work with a minimum degree of supervision are required. Individual must be able to work effectively in a diverse and fast-paced environment and maintain office professionalism while providing quality customer experiences.
