Required Qualifications:

Applicant must be a current Morton College student carrying 6 credits hours in the Fall and Spring. One credit in the Summer. Good academic standing with a minimum GPA of a 2.0. Customer service skills. Time management skills and ability to multi-task.

Must be able to demonstrate the Morton College core values of compassion, fairness, respect, responsibility, tolerance and truth.

Preferred Qualifications:

English-Spanish bilingual.

Job Summary:

Student Aide will support daily operations of Community and Continuing Education program, including general office duties and administrative support to Community and Continuing Education students, faculty, and staff.

Specific Job Duties:

• Provide information about Community and Continuing Education programing via phone and in-person
• Respond to student, faculty, and staff inquiries and requests in compliance with the program policies
• Prepare program flyers and promotional materials
• Assist with maintaining program records, including class rosters, student applications and instructor paperwork
• Conduct research for the program social network sites updates
• Assist with recruitment and marketing events
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
