Job Description:
RVCC is currently seeking part-time instructors to teach Introduction to Sociology on Saturday mornings and/or through the Somerville Academy for Liberal Arts which is located in Somerville High School.
The purpose of this course is to provide a systematic investigation of the basic concepts and principles of sociology with emphasis on culture, social relationships, groups, institutions, social structure and the fundamental sociology theories.
Candidates should have the ability to teach afternoons, evenings, and/or Saturdays as well as online.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Sociology from an accredited college or university is required; Ph.D. preferred.
Minimum of two years' teaching experience in Psychology required; college level preferred.

Location: Positions may be located on the Main RVCC Campus or at Somerville High School.
