Job Details

 RESPONSIBILITIES: To serve as an adjunct faculty member for the History program teaching one or more in-person, undergraduate, introductory-level world history courses. Courses would be 2 or 3 credit courses for a total of 6 hours over the course of the year. Also hiring adjuncts to teach up to 6 hours in Ancient, Medieval, Early Modern European History or special topics course in the area of expertise excluding U.S. History.


QUALIFICATIONS:  MA or PhD in History or related fields.


POSITION DETAILS: Adjuncts are contracted per course. Salary determined by education. 


APPOINTMENT DATE: Fall and Spring semesters, 2024-2025.  EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
