As the Instructional Technologies and Engagement Platforms Associate, you will contribute to the planning and execution of key instructional technologies and campus engagement platform projects. You will work with the Package Adoption and Configuration (PAC) team to enable the digitization of processes across campus with the goal of improving academic, administrative, and research functions through technology innovation.
You will work closely with platform administrators for Canvas (the learning management system), Campus Groups (an event management platform), Terradotta GPS (a global engagement platform), and Oracle Learn.com (a professional development platform). In this role, you will also address support tickets, participate in platform related assessments, interface with platform APIs, take part in relevant meetings, and assist with integrations and platform reporting.
This position is part of Princeton’s Office of Informational Technology (OIT) Summer Experience Program. OIT is excited to welcome a cohort of undergraduate students to learn, explore, and gain professional experience in a variety of technical and administrative roles. All positions are sponsored by one of the six major departments within OIT, each specializing in a different area of information technology.
This is a temporary position.
What you’ll be doing:
- Resolving support tickets in ServiceNow
- Participating in team, partner, and vendor meetings
- Developing proposals and presenting to stakeholders
- Platform administration tasks such as account creation, site creation, managing templates, and reporting
- Custom application development and maintenance, interfacing with platform APIs
