Job SummaryThis position provides administrative support for Finance and Administration and is responsible to keep the staff informed of items affecting the office/function.This position requires confidentiality and the ability to make independent judgements and procedural decisions.
Applicant must be a current Georgia Highlands Student
This position is located at Floyd Campus
Responsibilities·Greets visitors and answers telephone; provides information and assistance; takes messages and schedules appointments
·Distributes incoming and outgoing mail
·Purchases office supplies as needed
·Assists with travel arrangements and expense reports
·Assist Budget Director with data entry task as needed
Required Qualifications- Currently enrolled in a program of study at Georgia Highlands College. A business pathway is preferred.
- Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with a High School diploma or equivalent, while currently on a course of study related to the occupational field
- Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated
$12.00 per hour
This is a part time position with hours up to 19 hours per week.
This is a non-benefitted position.
