(Contingent upon available funding): 13.00 - 15.50, Hourly Work Schedule: TBD Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Responsible for providing clean pots, pans, and dishes to the production area of the Rancher's Club, State Room and other Business and Hospitality dining venues to facilitate quick service.
Position works with ware washing machine and is responsible for the cleanliness of all items washed.
The staff member is responsible for set up and maintenance of the ware washing machine as well as the shutdown, proper cleaning, and sanitation of the same machine and work area when shift is over.
The staff member is responsible for maintaining a well-organized and clean work area by keeping area clear of boxes and refuse, and following all safety, sanitation, and organizational skills to help accomplish the job.
The position will also work in other areas of the Ranchers Club and State room such as but not limited to production, service and stock room, with other duties as necessary based on Rancher's Club/State Room goals and priorities as assigned by Food and Beverage General Manager or their designee, chef, sous chef, or supervisor.
Must support and promote a team atmosphere at all times.
This staff member in this position will be on their feet for most of the shift.
Ability to work in hot, wet, and loud environment for long periods of time.Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).Ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop.Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.Must be able to understand and follow procedures. Minimum Qualifications:
High School/GED Zero to six months of related experience. Able to follow written and oral instruction Able to organize work and work area for the most efficient outcome. Operate appropriate equipment for position. Know and practice basic safety and sanitation standards. Must have high sanitation standards including washing hands frequently throughout the shift. Must be reliable and dependable by adhering to a schedule, covering shifts when necessary, and being on time for scheduled shifts.
