The successful candidate must have some college-level teaching experience, a high level of computer literacy, and a commitment to teaching at a community college. Candidates should demonstrate (1) a mastery of their specific discipline; (2) a deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, achievement and persistence; (3) technology competencies as well as teaching/counseling skills and strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies; (4) the use of resources that prepare students for productive lives.

Minimum Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline required.
- Ideal candidates should possess a background in Data Analytics, AI, Network Security, Web Development, or Programming using languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
- The successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching.
- Broward College places special importance on helping under - prepared students achieve academic success.
- The successful candidate will be expected to maintain active professional development activities and service to the Department and College. Committee work is expected.
- All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours.
