Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications:

Seeking an experienced LMT with the ability to teach the following topics: kinesiology, pathophysiology, anatomical terminology, advanced massage techniques for specific conditions, and MBLEx Licensure Prep. Must be available 2-3 afternoons/evening per week for classes that run for 8 or 16 weeks. This position will be assigned 1-3 classes per semester (fall, spring, and summer) totaling between 32-96 clock hours each semester.

Education
  • Master's Degree Preferred

Experience
  • Prior teaching experience strongly preferred

Licenses and Certifications
  • Minimum 2 years licensed as a Massage Therapist; 5 or more years experience preferred

COD Training
  • Adjunct Faculty Training Program, if little or no prior teaching experience


Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.

These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments
