UCD Research & Innovation provides support and assistance to our research community. In line with the UCD Research, Innovation and Impact Strategy, Shaping the Future, we aim to drive excellence and optimise our supporting structures and services, to ensure that our people are supported to reach their full potential within UCD.

We are now seeking a Research Policy Officer to provide expert advice and assistance on compliance with key regulatory matters relating to research activity. The Research Policy Officer will play a key role in supporting the research community to comply with the Export Controls regulatory framework. The postholder will work closely with senior colleagues in UCD Legal and UCD Safety, Insurance, Operational Risk and Compliance (SIRC) Office, as well as UCD Research to help develop and implement institutional policies, promote awareness of and facilitate training in these areas.

The successful candidate will join a busy unit and benefit from a culture of continuous professional development. The role would appeal to someone who has worked in a research support environment, ideally with experience in governance and/or compliance.

Administrative Officer 1 (2010) Salary Scale: €49,131 - €66,532 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
