Job Description:

The Department of Statistics at the University of Florida, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites applications for two (2) full-time, nine-month, tenure-accruing positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning August 16, 2024.

We are particularly interested in candidates with research interests in causal inference for big data, spatial data, and imaging. However, we are also interested in candidates from other research areas. Duties include teaching, research, and service.

This search is part of a campus-wide effort by the University of Florida to expand the role of AI in higher education and research (https://ai.ufl.edu). Expected Salary:

The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and the compensation includes a full benefits package.
