Description:

The postdoctoral fellows will conduct studies of cellular neurophysiology in the auditory system. The responsibilities for this position will include: experimental design, data collection and analysis, preparing for publications in peer-reviewed journals, and presentation of those results at scientific meetings.

Qualifications:

Required Education:

Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences with experience in neuroscience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Strong work ethic

2. Dedication to the project

3. Strong organizational and management skills

4. Ability to critically discuss science

5. Ability to critically read the scientific literature and apply it to the project

6. Experience with neurophysiology

7. Excellent writing and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with patch-clamp recording

2. Experience with advanced microscopy and imaging

3. Experience with in vivo electrophysiology
