This role serves as a member of the College of Law Faculty Support Office. Responsibilities of this appointment include but is not limited to assisting with:

  • Booking travel for faculty using FSU’s Concur travel and expense management software;
  • Inputting faculty expense reports also using Concur;
  • Maintaining faculty and adjunct mailboxes;
  • Updating faculty articles in faculty guest office and scholarship display case
  • Collecting faculty information, including but not limited to publications, speeches, conferences, and other additions to their CV’s; and, inputting this information as part of a yearly reporting standard;
  • Assisting with preparation for faculty meetings;
  • Typing handwritten documents;
  • Editing PowerPoint presentations;
  • Assisting with copying and scanning projects;
  • Preparing mailings;
  • Assisting with exam administration (as needed);
  • Providing assistance to other Faculty Support Office staff; and, other duties based on faculty and departmental needs.

A high school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in an educational and/or office setting is required. Post-high school education may substitute for work experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment, office practices, procedures, and etiquette;
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
  • Must enroll in a training on FSU travel and expense report policies provided by Office of the Controller within the first 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP Concur
  • Experience with Canvas and/or Blackboard software
  • Experience with Corporate travel booking

Anticipated Salary Range

$14-$16 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
