Participants who complete the four graduate-level 3-credit hybrid courses will earn the Mathematics for Educators Certificate from Trinity.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in mathematics or mathematics education and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills, particularly the ability to engage adult learners. The ideal candidate will be familiar with NCTM’s Developing Mathematical Ideas professional development series (https://www.nctm.org/Publications/Microsites/Developing-Math-Ideas/About/Developing-Mathematical-Ideas/) as a learner or instructor or both.

Finalists for this position should prepare a teaching demonstration and will be asked to submit official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references.
