The Department of Art at Colby College invites applications for a two-year sabbatical replacement position in art history before 1700 at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor beginning September 2024. Four-course teaching load per year includes contribution to introductory surveys of art history, upper-division courses, and advanced seminars in area of specialization.


We are especially interested in candidates who, through their scholarship, teaching, and service, will promote diversity at Colby. A completed PhD and teaching experience at the college level are required.
