The School of Human Services is seeking qualified and enthusiastic professionals and educators to fill adjunct positions in the Health, Fitness, and Lifestyle (HFL) Program, which offers a diverse array of courses focused on improving health, fitness levels, and skillsets related to personal well-being. Current HFL offerings include Physical Conditioning, Marathon Training, Walking for Fitness, Running for Fitness, Barre Fitness, Tennis I, Basketball I, Snow Sports, Beginning Swimming, Swim Conditioning, Social History of Baseball, Issues in Global Sport, Sport and Community, Philosophy of Sports, Yoga I, Yoga II, Mindfulness, Ashtanga Yoga Studies, Yin Yoga Studies, Financial Wellness, Happiness in Action, Healthy Cooking Basics, and Stress Management.
In addition to growing our pool of instructors, we are seeking to expand our course offerings to provide further opportunities for students. - On a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses in the School of Human Services.
- Course instruction consistent with accreditation standards.
- Grading assignments, monitoring student participation.
- Adherence to program and college policies and procedures.
- Maintaining communication with program faculty, staff, and students.
- Academic degree in appropriate discipline and/or relevant professional credentials.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.
- Candidates should also have computer and internet literacy and be comfortable with online instructional methods.
Bachelor’s degree, and/or professional credentials, and/or professional experience in the course area that will be taught. Compensation and Benefits
