Overview

Applications are being accepted for a part-time Recruitment & Admissions Engagement Specialist at Moraine Park Technical College, Fond du Lac Campus. This position will provide direct contact with prospective and admitted students in line with established communication strategies, department processing, and student engagement efforts. Work in conjunction with Recruitment and Admissions teams to support student onboarding practices and department activities to achieve enrollment goals.

Responsibilities

• Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other technologies to maintain student engagement throughout the enrollment process via letter, e-mail, phone, and texting channels. Assist in the production of scheduled recruitment and admissions communications consistent with the communication sequence/plans.• Serve as primary contact for online inquiries, admissions emails, and phone lines. Evaluate customer requests, research answers to questions, and follow up and provide referrals as appropriate. Provide information regarding policies and procedures, and the status of applications; perform word processing, spreadsheet, and data entry.• Set up and send departmental texting to prospects, applicants and new admits. Respond to text messages.• Inactivate timed-out started applications, follow up on a change of program with background checks, and conduct other related admissions processing to maintain accurate data and keep students/prospects well informed of needed items.• Set up basic CRM dashboards. Run basic reports, queries, and extracts from CRM for tracking and targeted communications.• Maintain Student Services web pages, update basic web content on the .edu page, and collaborate with Marketing for extensive web revision needs.• Modify automated email messages within the CRM using HTML format.• Provide support to recruitment and admissions events and other departmental activities, including assistance in event coordination, conducting tours, and other responsibilities. • Use CRM and ERP systems to maintain current, accurate information on each person’s record. • Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsMust-Have Qualifications:• High School diploma. • Two years of related work experience. Database experience is required.• Two years of customer service or related experience is required.• Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems, and general software applications, including Microsoft Office 365 (Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management to provide a complete and timely explanation of issues and decisions to ensure customer satisfaction.• Ability to take initiative, work independently with little supervision and make sound decisions with minimal direction.• Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize special projects with routine assignments.• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team. • High degree of integrity and professionalism and a demonstrated ability to respect the confidentiality of information and demonstrate critical and systems thinking.• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity. Desired Qualifications:• Associate degree in Business Administration, or a related field.• Knowledge of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).Any combination of necessary experience and qualifications which provides desired knowledge, skills, and abilities. Other Position Requirements:• Ability to travel to College and external partner locations.
