Overview

The Ticket Sales and Operations Assistant will serve as a positive and passionate ambassador for Princeton Athletics, demonstrating a commitment to the highest quality sales and customer service. This position will generate revenue though emails, text messages, web chats, and outbound/inbound call efforts while also providing operational support both in the office and across ticketed events. Day to day leadership and mentoring of this career growth-oriented sports sales and customer service position will be provided by area management and members of the External leadership team. This position is temporary.

Responsibilities

Ticket Operations

  •  Establish a comprehensive understanding of the Audience View Ticketing System
  • Assist in the creation and segmentation for all email communication through pulling reports
  • Control on campus digital TV promotions located adjacent to the Jadwin Gymnasium box office and Jadwin Gymnasium lobby
  • Assist in maintaining the athletics email account, as well as all the Website Alive communication (text messages and web responses)
  • Manage mail and will call tickets as needed
  • Assist with the management of Teamworks system for player guest tickets. Including but not limited to building events, pulling reports, distributing tickets to fans via Audience View.

Ticket Sales

 

Duties include performing outbound calls and servicing inbound calls for Princeton Athletics with a concentration on sales of Football, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Wrestling, and Men’s Lacrosse.

 

This includes but will not limited to:

  • Season Tickets
  • Finding and cultivating new season ticket holders
  • Manage and service assigned season ticket and mini plan accounts with the goal of account revenue
  • Season Ticket upgrades and Add-ons
  • Partial/ Mini-Plan Ticket Packages
  • Group Tickets
  • Single game tickets

Other sales related responsibilities include:

  • Management of inbound phones calls
  • Provide excellent customer service to client base to ensure optimal renewal rate and leverage up-selling opportunities
  • Assist in managing group experiences- Reviewing all assets to make sure we are advertising them enough and or need to make changes
  • Lead the department in prospecting for new leads that can be called upon for tickets
  • Utilize a tracking system (i.e. CRM type sustem) to track and report progress of relationships with all portfolio accounts

Game Day Ticketing

  • Work all home Women’s Ice Hockey games and additional home events as needed for Football, Men’s/Women’s Basketball, Wrestling, Lacrosse, and Men’s Ice Hockey
  • Update all sales computers and make sure they are operational for game day
  • Manage booths as needed to trouble shoot for problems
  • Visit all group leaders and execute all group experiences on game day
